Naked Buns(o's)

Many of you have been asking to see video of Miles walking.  Well, here is a special treat.  Not only is he walking in this video, but he is dancing naked!  Our friends, the Trelsdads, sing a song whenever their kids dance naked called "Naked Bunsos."  It has caught up with our family and it is a pre-bath ritual these days in the Brown household.  See for yourself.  Isn't his tushy & belly yummy?

Elliot has been fascinated with space lately and loves to read any book that has to do with space, astronauts or rockets.  Here is a special THANK YOU video for Elliot's new lego set.  He had a great time bukiding his new space craft with daddy.  Elliot really wanted this set and as you can see in the video - he memorized the commercial for the set from the lego website.

Miles would like to help with the legos, but they just end up in his mouth.  Distraction at this age is key.  We are starting ealry this year with the Cubs mojo.

Hip Hop

Elliot has been taking a Hip Hop class with his best buddy, Ronan, once a week.  He loves to listen to music and boogy so we thought this would be a great opportunity to get some moves down.  Elliot has a blast and we have such a great time watching him and all the other little guys and gals get down.  Miles has a lot of fun as well.  He will join the group, on occasion, but usually just walks around and gets snuggles from whoever will hold him.

Elliot The Photographer

Elliot has always been interested in photography.  He likes looking at pictures and likes taking them with our camera.  His ability to take pics with our camera, though, have been limited from our fear that he would accidently break it.  

Turns out, Grandma Helen and Grandpa George had bought him his very own kids digital camera and gave it to him when they visited.  Elliot has hardly put it down since.  He takes his camera everywhere he goes (i.e school Trader Joes, hikes, OMSI ...)  

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

It is a pretty neat little camera and we think Elliot takes some fine pictures.

Grandpa/Grandma & Yossi Visit

We were honored to have Grandma Helen and Grandpa George visit last month.  While they were here, Uncle Yossi came to visit as well.  We were super excited to spend time with him too (even if it was only for a couple of days.)  While Uncle Yossi was here we played at the house and went to one of Elliot's favorite places, OMSI (museum of science and industry.)  Luckily Uncle Yossi loves that too.  We had a short visit, but we hope to see him again real soon.

Grandma Helen had never been to the Oregon coast before so we thought we would take a drive and show her the coasts beauty.  Lucky for us it was a sunny day.  

It was great having Grandma and Grandpa visit and play with the kids.  They are always a lot of fun.  We miss them very much and look forward to seeing them soon when we visit Florida.
