T-Ball

T-ball season is in full swing. Elliot is excited to be playing for the Oddball Shoes team and I am happily helping coach/herd cats. Elliot got a hit that made it all the way to the fence today and was pretty fired up about it.

Pasach and Uncle Yossi

Miles loves all bread products and Matzah is no exception. We had a nice short family seder (two year olds don't like to sit and listen while the food gets cold). Elliot is old enough to get into the story and the blessings and of course the hiding of the afi-kommen. Miles really gets into the matzah. The best part of passover this year was a visit from Uncle Yossi.
Uncle Yossi got here just in time for T-ball opening day. A typically wet, cold spring day in Portland.
He and Elliot wrote a story about going to the moon.
The boys made out like bandits with White Sox hats, shirts and Elliot even got a personalized autograph from Gordon Beckham the White Sox third baseman. But I think their favorite gift was getting to hang out with Uncle Yossi.

McCulloch's in Portland

A couple weeks ago we had a delightful visit from our good friends the McCullochs' from Bend. It's been too long and all the kiddos are getting so big. Miles and Elliot had a great time with Finley and Hadley, the dads got to sneak out for a Blazers game and Hopefully the moms got to catch up a little after the kids went to bed.

Passover is over but....

Passover may be over, but apparently it is still fresh in the kids heads.
We had a nice and small seder, both nights, over here at our house. All of us are quite happy to be done with eating matzah for the week. Elliot was excited to share all of his knowledge and matzah with his teachers and friends at school.

As I was folding laundry in the other room, I heard the kids singing "Dy-A-Nu". That is a good song to play legos to, don't you think. We will work on learning more of the Hebrew versus, I reckon.

I ran to get the camera so I can secretly record them (sneaky mommy) until Miles noticed me.

Too Cute!
